The Financial Crimes Initiative is through the North Carolina Conferences of District Attorneys. In  November 2012, conference members began the Financial Crimes Initiative as a resource to the elected district attorneys across the state by offering various levels of prosecutorial assistance in the area of financial crime.

The Financial Crimes Initiative team, comprised of the White Collar Crime Resources prosecutor and four regional financial crimes prosecutors, is committed to making a difference in the prosecution of financial crimes in  North Carolina. These crimes are often highly complex matters, involving large volumes of documents and evidence and require a focused approach. These specialized prosecutors will be responsible for prosecuting select financial crimes cases throughout the state.

The Conference of District Attorneys continues to be committed to being a leader in this area by embracing and coordinating a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to fighting financial crimes in North Carolina.
