City man charged in Cordova home break-in

A Rockingham man was arrested Monday and was charged in connection to a home break-in on Center Street in Cordova.

Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested John David McCuiston, 41, of McQueen Street, and charged him with breaking and entering and larceny after the breaking and entering. McCuiston also faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, selling methampetamine, possession with intent to distribute, possession/distribution of a meth precursor, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

McCuiston was jailed on a $90,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear on April 13 in Richmond County Superior Court.
