Berry earns 1st, Grand Champion at livestock show

WINSTON-SALEM — Ellerbe resident Coleman Lee Berry took home a first place finish as well as a Grand Champion in the meat class at the 4th annual Forsyth County Farm Bureau Clover Classic 4-H Livestock Show this past weekend at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds.

Jordan Carroll, of Ellerbe, won first in the Meat Goat Showmanship competition in the 16-18 age group.

Other Richmond County exhibitors in the show included Savannah Shepard and Payton Smith.
