ROCKINGHAM — A little more than two full days remain in The Pee Dee Post‘s campaign to raise $5,000 and keep the doors of Richmond County’s daily news source open for business.

The campaign to keep The Pee Dee Post operational reached the midway mark. There are approximately 60 hours left to contribute.
Owner Kevin Spradlin said Thursday’s contributions of received or pledged funds totaled $610, bringing the four-month-old campaign total to $2,550. The campaign to keep the Post locally owned and operated, as well as privately funded, began in October but gained traction on Feb. 15, when the Post announced a suspension of operations to re-evaluate its financial position.
“Response has been overwhelming,” Spradlin said, “and this has served as yet another opportunity to meet new PeeDeePost.com readers.”
It’s not too late to drop off a contribution. You can help via an online payment or deliver a check or money order to:
