No on was injured in the incident, but the pole snapped and caused a power outage. It’s not known how many Duke Energy customers were impacted. The one-car crash occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Power was restored shortly before 8 p.m. by MasTec, a Fayetteville-based subcontractor for Duke Energy.
