Three players — wide receivers Desmond Marshall and Montek Johnson, along with linebacker Gus Chambers — will play for the Quakers at Guilford College in Greensboro.

Offensive lineman Kevin Norton will play at Catawba College for the Indians in Salisbury, though he had previously made a verbal commitment to play at the Air Force Academy.

Defensive lineman Cyrus Stanback has agreed to play on and continue his studies at North Carolina Central University in Durham for the Eagles.

In addition, defensive back P.J. Everette will play at UNC-Pembroke for the Braves.

The seniors helped lead last year’s Raiders to an 11-2 season. Richmond’s only losses came to Scotland to end the regular season and then, in a second-round Class 4AA East Region playoff game, to Millbrook.

Both Stanback, who finished with 42 tackles, and Norton were selected to play in the 78th annual Shrine Bowl in December in Spartanburg, S.C. In addition, both players were first team all-Southeastern Conference selections. It was Norton’s second all-conference selection.
