HAMLET — What would Rockingham’s middle school basketball team do without Bobby Terry, Rodrick Newton and Jahaye Stanback.

RocketsAll three were in the starting lineup Monday night as the Rockets faced Hamlet on the road. The trio led Rockingham to a 43-38 victory. The team stands a perfect 9-0 entering Thursday’s regular season finale at home against Anson.

Terry had 12 points, Newton had 11 and Stanback 10 for the Rockets. D.J. Stephens added four points while Isiah Crowder, D.D. Bruce and Cameron Caraway chipped in with two points apiece.
