Love, Swiney combine for 26 points

ROCKINGHAM — It was nothing by the friendly confines of the home gymnasium for the Rockingham Rockets Thursday as they tossed aside the Sycamore Lane Bucks of Laurinburg, 50-10. Rockingham moves to 4-0 with the win.
Keene Love led the way with 16 points and Allexis Swiney added 10 points. Emily Parsons and Ralayah McRae had six points apiece in the win.
Hailey Miller and Jadyn Johnson each had four points for Rockingham while Taliah Wall and Savannah Lampley added two points each.
It was Rockingham’s first game since Dec. 15. The Rockets’ next game is Monday on the road against the Carver Eagles in Laurel Hill. On Jan. 15, the Rockets host West Hoke.
