‘Believing is achieving’

HAMLET — “Believing is achieving.”

Education, the 53-year-old said, was the most important accomplishment of all, and it was up to the students to prepare themselves for a successful future.

“True winners will stay motivated for as long as it takes,” he said.

After completing school in Richmond County Schools and later North Carolina State University, Williams logged 10 years in the NFL with the New York Giants – including Super Bowls in 1987 and 1992.
