The Rockingham wanted for allegedly robbing a bank in Troy earlier this week has been arrested.
Authorities say Anthony Drake, 45, robbed the Fidelity Bank at 315 Albemarle Road shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
He was arrested at the Sunset Motel in Rockingham by members of the vice narcotics unit and investigator deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after the robbery, it was believed Drake returned to Richmond County Chief Deputy Mark Gulledge told The Pee Dee Post that deputies and investigators have been working leads since the robbery “and their hard work paid off.”
Drake was escorted to Montgomery County and handed over to Troy Police Department officers.
