Jessee joins FirstHealth Wound Care

ROCKINGHAM – Carol Jessee, FNP, has joined FirstHealth Wound Care & Hyperbarics as a family nurse practitioner for the programs at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham and FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Campus in Raeford.

Jessee received a bachelor’s of science degree in education from Oklahoma Baptist University and her BSN degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She earned her MSN degree from Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing and was trained in wound and hyperbarics at Healogics in Jacksonville, Fla.

Prior to joining the FirstHealth wound care service, she was employed as an executive practitioner in a retail Target Clinic. She previously worked in primary care at Womack Army Medical Center/Robinson Health Clinic, as outreach director for Central Texas Wound Healing Associates and as a nurse practitioner in a family practice clinic setting.

In addition, Jessee has been an adjunct clinical instructor for an associate degree registered nurse program, an elementary school nurse and a flight nurse with the Oklahoma Air National Guard.

She is affiliated with the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.

The FirstHealth Wound Care & Hyperbarics program in Richmond County is located at 925 South Long Drive in Rockingham. The Hoke County program is located in the Physician Offices & Specialty Center at 6322 Fayetteville Road, Raeford. For more information, visit www.firsthealth.org.
