The 2014 Cheraw Christmas Parade float winners were recognized Friday by Cheraw Mayor Andy Ingram at Town Hall.

Each winner received a $250 check for their homemade entry. The floats were judged on workmanship (effort & quality of work), overall appearance, use of materials, use of lights and music, creativity and originality, and rider participation.

Best Overall went to the young men at Camp Sandhills;

Best Religious was awarded to Lighthouse Ministries; and

and Best Holiday (secular) went to Wannamaker Drug.

The Town of Cheraw would like to congratulate these winners and to everyone that worked hard to make the parade a success.
