The annual Watkins-Kendall Thanksgiving dinner is set to begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27 in Dobbins Heights.

Last year, more than 300 people were served meals around the town or inside the Dobbins Heights Community Center, located at 195 Daniels St.

The dinner is intended for those that are homeless, elderly, disabled, who can’t afford to cook or simply want to come out and fellowship.

For a ride or to request delivery, call Wilma Huey at 910-582-2557 or 910-995-2708 or Angeline David at 910-582-1866 or 910-206-3542 on Thanksgiving morning.

The number at the community center is 910-582-0170.
