Each year, Mount Olive Baptist Church, located at 596 East Washington St., Rockingham, stages the “Scenes of Christ.”

It is a drive-through even that makes full use of its church property by presenting dramatizations of some of the events surrounding Christ’s life on earth to hundreds of viewers each year.

There are live animals, beautiful costumes, approximately 150 actors, new improvements and a new scene that will debut with Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem.

This year’s Scenes of Christ Drive-Through will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Please, this Christmas, have your family join our church family in all the joy that glorify the true “reason for the season,” and become inspired to stand strongly against a culture that wants to trivialize and eliminate the faith elements of this holy season.
