Sandhills Ringers, choir take to stage

ROCKINGHAM — Nearly 150 people of all ages took their seats Sunday afternoon inside First Baptist Church to hear the Sandhills Ringers and choir perform 10 selections during the groups’ annual concert.

Under the direction of Judy Harris, 13 handbell performers, 13 choir members, a pianist and an organist — as well as four youth brought in for sign language duties for “Jesus Loves Me” — entertained guests for more than an hour with music ranging in tone from religious to stage to holiday.
