A Ford Explorer came to rest on the passenger side facing to the southeast on Caroline Street approximately a dozen feet south of Midway Road. Much of the damage appeared to be to the vehicle’s right-front quarter.

A Toyota Celica, which suffered signficant front-end damage, came to rest facing southwest on Caroline Street.

It was not immediately clear what sequence of events led to the incident. Rockingham Police Department is investigating the incident. Personnel from Rockingham Fire Department responded for traffic control and Arlo’s Wrecker Service hauled both vehicles away.
