To the editor:
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the voters who supported the principles for which I stand in the 2014 midterm elections.
It was an enduring campaign and I had the pleasure to meet some wonderful people in the counties that make up the great N.C. 8th Congressional District.
We made strides in some areas and will build upon that momentum over the next two years. Hope has not died, but we must mobilize and prepare for victory in two years.
It is my desire that lawmakers representing our great state will put people first and stand up for those without a voice, for those ordinary citizens trying to make a living in their pursuits of happiness.
Thank you again for the votes and the support given me in my bid for U.S. Congress.
