Letter: I, too, support Gainey

To the editor:

I am supporting Jared Gainey, who lives in Ellerbe, for a Soil and Water Supervisor position.

letter_logoJared is a poultry farmer and manages long leaf pines along with working a full time job. The NC Soil and Water Commission appointed Gainey to fill the unexpired seat of Myers Waddell on Jan. 5, 2014. He has a BS in Biology. He is a family man, who I feel will continue to assist in creating policies, directing staff to complete goals, and approving conservation activities for Richmond County; by sustaining our natural resources through technical services, partnerships, and education.

I feel that a balanced perspective is needed for the management of our natural resources, and I have seen that in Jared Gainey in his short tour with Richmond County Soil and Water. Please write-in Jared Gainey for Soil and Water Supervisor on Nov. 4 when you vote.
