Amateur and professional shutterbugs alike weighed in with their 8.5-inch by 11-inch submissions under the theme “celebration.”

McDonald took his shot while on vacation at Walt Disney World in Orlando during the “Festival of the Lion King” show. He used a Canon 5KkIII with 24-105 lens, a shutter setting of 1/125 and an f/4 aperture at 4000 ISO.

Details on Crouch’s photo were not submitted.

The group worked on photos that will be exhibited inside Arts Richmond in downtown Rockingham. Members have more than 100 photos from assignments in 2014. The exhibit will begin on Dec. 6 during the Christmas on the Square event and will run through January.
