10334324_10204155927351673_1209077523127359573_n[1]Hamlet resident Nikki Honeycutt, 20, completed this painting in three hours during a class at Hobby Lobby in Wilmington.

Honeycutt is attending UNC-Wilmington, where she is a junior and majoring in commercial and movie set art. In her spare time, she also takes art classes at the retail art store.

Honeycutt is the daughter of Brock and Wanda Richardson Honeycutt, of Hamlet, and the granddaughter of PeeDeePost.com columnist Howard Richardson and his wife, Mary, of Rockingham, and Charles and Peggy St. John Honeycutt, of Hamlet.
