ROCKINGHAM — The largest field in the history of the ninth annual Hinson Lake 24-Hour Ultra Classic started right on time this morning in Rockingham.
Since 8 a.m., everything has gone just as smooth as the start.
PeeDeePost.com photographer MacKenzie Spradlin is on hand and has taken more than 3,800 photos so far. They’ll take a bit to upload, but know that folks are logging miles and having a lot of fun in Richmond County.
Race director Jerry Lindstrand noted that city of Rockingham personnel have done a wonderful job getting the trails in shape.
“I’ve been working with the Hinson Lake 24-Hour Ultra classic for six years now, and the trail today is the best it has been in the last six years,” Lindstrand said of city workers’ efforts.
Stay tuned to PeeDeePost.com and we’ll have mileage for the top men and women around mid- to late afternoon and plenty more photos throughout the day.
