Report: Man struck by car

ROCKINGHAM — FirstHealth EMS personnel and firefighters with the Rockingham Fire Department responded Friday morning to a report of a man struck by a car.

The emergency call for help came in at about 9:34 a.m. The man was reported to be near Russell Street, off Richmond Road. The ambulance and firetruck pulled around Russell Street and found the man, wearing jeans and no shirt, walking along Brookfield Road at Arbor Road.

The man appeared to step up into the back of the ambulance on his own accord, under the close supervision of EMS personnel.

There was no motorist in sight; it’s unclear exactly what happened at this time.
