Curtis Lee Taylor, 80, of Rockingham, N.C., passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at Richmond Pines Health and Rehabilitaion Center in Hamlet.
Mr. Taylor was born March 8, 1934 in Richmond County, a son of the late William Carey and Selina Suits Taylor. He had served his country in the US Army and had been employed by JP Stevens and Fruit of the Loom. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Church in Rockingham with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating.
Surviving are his sons, Curtis Taylor Jr. of Rockingham, Christopher Taylor of Rockingham, Brian Taylor of Wilmington; two grandchildren; and a sister, Clarcy Mae Gerald of Rockingham.
