Police seize $16,000 in marijuana plants in Laurel Hill

The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday night that Operation Summer Harvest had netted

approximately $16,000 worth of marijuana plants in the Laurel Hill community.

Laurel Hill is approximately 10 miles southeast of Hamlet.

Authorities said the investigation is continuing. Details will be reported as they become available.
