Hamlet Middle announces 6th Grade Jump Start

Screen Shot 2014-07-30 at 10.32.50 AMSixth Grade Jump start, a tradition at Hamlet Middle School, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, Aug. 14.

This event is for rising sixth grade students to get them acclimated to the school before the first day. Students will be welcomed by the administration and then travel through a series of stations to introduce them to the school. Stations will include a locker race (how to open those tricky combination locks), a scavenger hunt, media and art room intros, and even a 3D station.

The end of Jump Start will be lunch for the students. Parents will meet in the gym for a short meeting and the students will report to the cafeteria.
