A 34-year-old Ellerbe man faces a laundry list of charges after a traffic stop by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies.
Jonathan Monroe Wilson was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of methamphetamines and carrying concealed weapon after the June 30 traffic stop. He also was charged with maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.
Though details are unclear, Wilson was subsequently charged with assault on a female, though the initial news release from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office made available Monday does not elaborate on the incident.
Wilson was held on $10,000 secure bond and confined to Richmond County Jail.
A call to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office was not immediately returned.
