School’s out … for summer!

ROCKINGHAM — Students across Richmond County celebrated the end of the 2013-14 academic year on Wednesday with awards assemblies and early dismissal.

In Rockingham, police officers spent one more 30-minute shift at key intersections, including Fayetteville Road near L.J. Bell Elementary and Rockingham Middle schools, to control traffic and ensure students were able to navigate the road crossings one more time without incident.
