Police: Hamlet man sold meth to police

A 27-year-old Hamlet man was arrested Wednesday by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies after deputies said he tried to sell them methamphetamines.

Robert Allen Beck, of Charlotte Street, is currently confined at Richmond County Jail on a $15,000 secured bond after attempting to sell police officers meth on Monday.

Beck was charged with possession with intent to distribute and selling methamphetamines.
