New Bojangles’ to open June 24

ROCKINGHAM — Bojangles’ will open a new restaurant at 1706 E. Broad Ave. in Rockingham on Tuesday, June 24 at 5 a.m.. To better serve its loyal customers, the new, larger restaurant will replace the Bojangles’ currently operating next door, which will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

Bojangles’ is proud to announce that the new restaurant will feature an updated look and landscaping. The more than 3,800 square foot restaurant will seat up to 92 guests in a more spacious dining area. The larger, redesigned kitchen will also allow a faster speed of service as the Bojangles’ team delivers the same, delicious menu items the Rockingham community has enjoyed for nearly 30 years. Bojangles’ will celebrate with special opening day offers:

  • All opening day customers will have the opportunity to enter for the chance to win breakfast for a year – that’s one breakfast combo every week for a full 52 weeks!
  • Customers will enjoy a free 22 oz. Legendary Iced Tea® from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with purchase
  • Kids age 12 and under will eat free from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. with purchase
  • Customers will receive a free coupon for a country ham, steak or sausage biscuit on their next visit from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with purchase

Bojangles’ core menu features the same quality products now as it did when the company was founded in 1977, offering its world-famous hand-breaded chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, flavorful fixin’s and Legendary Iced Tea, steeped the old-fashioned way.

The news Bojangles’ will serve all menu items – including Bojangles’ famous breakfast – from 5:00 a.m. until 10 p.m., and until 11 p.m. at the drive-thru window, Monday through Saturday. The restaurant will serve from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. at the drive-thru window, on Sunday.

Bojangles’ new company-owned restaurant in Richmond County also represents a continued economic investment in the area. The average investment made by the company for new locations is $1.7 million. All Bojangles’ team members from the current Rockingham location will transfer to the new restaurant and 15 additional team members were hired.
