Officers with the Hamlet Police Department responded on Thursday to a report of a motorist driving in a careless and reckless manner on Spring Street and netted a Hamlet man wanted on a long list of felony warrants from Scotland County.
During the traffic stop, officers determined that passenger Aaron Dohogn, 32, was wanted in Scotland County for driving on a revoked license, breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, felony larceny, larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Dohogn was placed in the Richmond County Jail on a $12,000 secured bond.
The driver of the vehicle, Daniel Franklin Walters, 31, of Laurel Hill, was cited for carrying a concealed handgun and released.
