Andrews graduates Campbell University

Xanthe Elizabeth Andrews, 21, of Hamlet, graduated from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on May 9 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Clinical Research.

Before graduation, Andrews completed a semester at Duke University Medical Center working in the General Surgery Unit on Abdominal Transplant/Colo-Rectal Surgery/Trauma clinical trials.

She is a 2010 graduate of Richmond Senior High School.

During breaks from school, Andrews has worked at Mabry’s Drug and Home Care in Hamlet to prepare for her future career. She plans to continue at Campbell University this fall in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Andrews expects to receive her white coat on Aug. 22, 2014.

Andrews is the daughter of Beth Howell, of Rockingham, and Jerry Andrews, of Indianapolis, Indiana.
