Gordon wins Crime Stoppers poster contest

Three students have been selected as winners in the Richmond County Crime Stoppers Poster Contest. Each year, students are encouraged to create original artwork displaying the Crime Stoppers phone number and slogan. CS1

This year, Venus Gordon at the Ninth Grade Academy placed first in the contest and received a check for $75. Her poster will be reproduced and displayed in local law enforcement agencies, businesses and schools in the county.
Jenna Graham, a junior at Richmond Senior High School, placed second and received a $50 check while fellow RSHS junior Abbie Hudson placed third in the poster contest and received a $25 check.
Abby Calhoun of Rockingham Middle School was selected as an Honorable Mention in the contest.
