After studying the struggles between the “haves” and “have nots” of society, students in Dr. Angie Adams’ Intro to Sociology classes at Richmond Community College decided to assist the schools Student Veterans Club with its food drive for The Place of Grace Rescue Mission.

The mission is located at 559 Airport Road in East Rockingham, a short distance from where the Place of Grace tent ministry original operated behind New Life Church.

Students from Richmond and Scotland County have collected more than 700 non-perishable food items and counting.
