Community Resource Fair set for Feb. 6

Cheraw First Baptist will host a free Community Resource Fair for the entire community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 in the church’s Family Life Center, 126 Greene St.

The center is located at the corner of Market and Greene streets.

Screen Shot 2015-01-22 at 12.36.44 PMThe purpose of the fair is to provide area residents an opportunity to visit with representatives from a variety of agencies including health and medical care, employment assistance, and educational programs. Everyone that registers during the event will be eligible for a drawing.

To date, community participants include Chesterfield General Hospital, Coker College Adult Education, Hospice of Chesterfield County, Coordinating Council and Youth Coalition, First Citizens Bank, Mercy in Me Free Medical Clinic, Northeastern Technical College, Agape Hospice, Logisticare, McArn Food Bank, SC Works, and Vocational Rehab.
