Turner completes retirement distribution and estate planning program

Chris Turner, a Modern Woodmen of America representative in Rockingham, has completed a five‑day advanced educational program at Modern Woodmen’s home office in Rock Island, Ill.

The program covered retirement distribution techniques to maximize income to recipients while minimizing potential income tax liabilities during retirement years.  The seminar also addressed estate planning techniques for wealth distribution to heirs, federal estate taxation, charitable giving and estate liquidity insurance.
